The Volunteers from CBCGDF Conservation Areas of Black Bear Held Science Popularization Activities

In order to further enhance the general public's understanding of black bears, guide the general public to pay attention to the living conditions of black bears, and enhance the awareness of the protection of black bears and other wild animals. Recently, volunteers from the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) black bear sanctuary held a black bear conservation knowledge popularization activity at the Railway Station Square in Tieli City.

At the event, volunteers displayed banners, distributed leaflets, hung posters, etc. to attract the public to stop and bring relevant content about the protection of black bears and other wild animals to the public. At the same time, volunteers answered the most frequently asked questions from the public , and explained face-to-face knowledge about the living habits, protection status, habitat protection, and emergency evacuation measures for wild animals such as black bears. The event received positive response and support from the general public. Many people expressed their intention to join the ranks of black bears and other wild animal protection and make their own contributions to the cause of wild animal protection.

As a precious wild animal resource in our country, black bears are facing serious survival threats due to many factors. As the main habitat area of black bears, the protection of black bears in the Northeast region is of great significance. Based on this, CBCGDF has established a number of black bear protection areas in the Northeast region to protect black bears and other rare species and their living environment through scientific research, patrols, and popular science propaganda.
