During the GMGSF, CBCGDF representatives clearly observed a significant reduction in the scale of the use of paper cups in the venue, and many representatives of countries and organizations responded positively to the UNEA's request to bring their own water bottles, their own lanyards, and adopt a paperless way of accessing event materials and information. The CBCGDF has long been committed to green development and would like to call on all sectors of the community to join the green conference and reduce the use of disposable paper cups and bottled water.

GMGSF 20 provides an opportunity for representatives of major groups and stakeholders accredited by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to prepare statements and inputs in the process of the UNEA-6, including the formal sessions and negotiations taking place in the General Assembly. GMGSF 20 provides an open and participatory platform for civil society engagement and serves as a platform for major groups and stakeholders to contribute to the UN Environment Assembly. GMGSF 20 provides an open platform for civil society engagement and serves as a preparatory meeting for major groups and stakeholders for the UNEA-6, with the theme of "effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.".

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng found that Asian participation in this global multi-stakeholder environmental forum is relatively low. He expressed his hope that more people from Asia, especially China, would participate in the future and actively contribute Asian perspectives to the global environmental dialogue.
