CBCGDF International Department Held the Fourth Global Environmental Governance Capacity Building Workshop in 2024

On the afternoon of January 26, 2024, the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), the OceanWetlands Working Group, and the BASE Committee of CBCGDF jointly held the fourth Global Environmental Governance Capacity Building Workshop in 2024.



First of all, the workshop shared the dynamics of major international conventions and environmental agencies in the past week, and exchanged current and future trends in global biodiversity governance.

In order to more effectively serve science workers and educate the public about science, the leaders of the communication platforms summarized the progress of the week’s work, including the data situation of science communication, and discussed the problems they faced and how to improve their work efficiency in the future.

The Fourteenth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (COP14) will be hosted in Samarkand from 12-17 February 2024.
 As the partner of CMS, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will send a delegation to the field, and will organize/ co-organize two side events.
