Global Voices Unite: Leila Benali Addresses 20th Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum | Dr. Jinfeng Zhou Leads CBCGDF Delegation of UNEA-6

 In a moment of environmental unity, Mrs. Leila Benali, Chair of the United Nations Environment Assembly, addressed the 20th Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF). Her speech emphasized the vital role of collaboration among diverse voices in shaping global environmental policies. Dr. Jinfeng Zhou, leading the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) delegation, echoed this call for unity, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the international dialogue on sustainability.

As the 20th GMGSF concluded, the shared commitment of global leaders, highlighted by Mrs. Benali's address, sets the stage for the upcoming 6th United Nations Environment Assembly, which will kick off on Feb 26th. Dr. Jinfeng Zhou and the CBCGDF delegation are very inspired and ready to amplify efforts for a more sustainable and interconnected future on the international stage.

The world’s ocean ecosystems are facing mounting threats—climate change, marine pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction due to human activities, to name a few. These pressures are particularly dangerous for marine mammals like cetaceans, whose survival hinges on healthy habitats and stable populations.
