CBCGDF General Secretary Zhou Jinfeng: Hope there will be More People Involved in Developing a Sustainable Future

On February 1, 2024, Impact Summit Asia Pacific 2024 was held in Singapore. The conference's theme was "Leading the way to a sustainable future - Learning from institutional distributors who achieve positive social, environmental and financial returns". The International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) was the supporting organization of the conference.

At the conference, Zhou Jinfeng shared his experience working on biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability in recent years and introduced the efforts he has led the CBCGDF to make for biodiversity conservation since joining in 2014.

For example, after joining the CBCGDF, the Legal Working Committee was set up. It started the journey of environmental public interest litigation, such as the Tengger pollution case prosecution, the Acer Pentaphyllum case, the public interest litigation case against the food delivery platform, and a series of other public interest litigation cases. In addition to this, the CBCGDF has set up the Community Conservation Areas (CCAfa) System since 2016, and so far, more than 210 CBCGDF CCAfa have been established.

Zhou Jinfeng calls on more enterprises and investors to join in environmental and ecological conservation in the future.
