CBCGDF Secretary-General Zhou Jinfeng Attends UNEA-6 in Nairobi: Charting a Greener Future

On February 25, 2024, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), arrived in Nairobi. The CBCGDF's objective is to actively participate in the sixth United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6), scheduled to commence on February 26.

UNEA-6 will address the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to mitigate these environmental crises. The CBCGDF, led by Dr Zhou Jinfeng, is set to play a significant role in contributing to discussions and initiatives at UNEA-6, showcasing Chinese civil society's commitment to global environmental stewardship.

During the assembly, the CBCGDF will host or co-organise two events contributing valuable insights and proposals based on its experience in biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
