ZHOU Jinfeng Comments on a Biodiversity Investigation Plan

Recently, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) project team discussed a biodiversity investigation plan. Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, General Secretary of CBCGDF, put forward 3 suggestions for the biodiversity investigation as follows:

Recommendation 1: A biodiversity investigation should be comprehensive, include genetic diversity, species diversity, ecosystem diversity, and ecological processes and interactions.

Recommendation 2: Biodiversity investigation should be targeted. Depending on the region, biodiversity investigation should be combined with local characteristics.

Recommendation 3: Biodiversity investigation should keep pace with the times,do not stay in traditional thinking, but should keep pace with the times and learn the most advanced science, technology and scientific ideas.
