CBCGDF“Peoples vs. Plastics” Working Group Mail Material Packs to Volunteers

China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) “Peoples vs. Plastics” Working Group mailed the material packs to volunteers in Hainan Province and Liaoning Province.


These material packs contain volunteer vests, hats, flags and other items. Since the “Peoples vs. Plastics” project was launched in September 2023, it has received strong support from volunteers all over China. Up to now, volunteers have carried out 13 “Peoples vs. Plastics” activities, covering Hainan, Qinghai, Hunan, Shandong, Hebei and other places, to pick up plastic waste.

The world’s ocean ecosystems are facing mounting threats—climate change, marine pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction due to human activities, to name a few.
