Beyond Boundaries: CBCGDF Co-organises Beijing's Green Health Symposium 2024 at China World Hotel

In the grand setting of the China Great Hall in Beijing, the Green Health Development Symposium opened its doors on January 22, 2024. Co-hosted by the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation and the China Aging Industry Development Foundation, this symposium marks a significant step towards the collaboration of environmental protection and elderly care.

The symposium, held at the prestigious China World Hotel, aims to foster development and cooperation in the green health sector, providing participants with a platform to share experiences and best practices. During the conference, distinguished guests from various fields shared their expertise and achievements, propelling innovation and progress in the realm of green health.

Mr. Gao Qiang, former Minister of Health, delivered a brilliant speech on "Opening a New Chapter in the Green Revolution." And, Mr. Hu Deping, the founding chairman of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), provided a concluding statement titled "Mobilizing Multifaceted Forces to Build a Green and Healthy Tomorrow."

The intertwining of aging, health, and environmental protection forms a delicate nexus crucial for the prosperity of both individuals and the planet. Aging populations demand enhanced healthcare infrastructure, while the environmental health of our planet directly impacts human well-being. The elderly, being particularly susceptible to environmental stressors, highlight the urgency of addressing climate change and pollution. Conversely, eco-friendly practices not only contribute to a cleaner environment but also foster physical and mental well-being, essential for the aging demographic. Recognizing this intricate relationship is pivotal for crafting holistic strategies that promote a sustainable and harmonious future.

The collaborative effort between the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation and the China Aging Industry Development Foundation underscores a commitment to holistic well-being. As environmental sustainability becomes increasingly intertwined with health considerations, this symposium serves as a vital nexus for dialogue and action. The shared experiences and insights exchanged during the symposium contribute to a collective effort to shape the future of green health. The event showcases a convergence of expertise, where environmental advocates and champions of elderly care unite to address the evolving challenges of our time.
