CBCGDF Campaign | Internet Zoo Looking Forward to Your Support of the Online "Museum" for Rural Children

Zoos are one of the important ways for children to participate in popularising animal science and conservation education. However, zoos are mostly located in large and medium-sized cities. Most children who live in rural areas and deep in the mountains have fewer chances to leave their hometown and participate in ecological protection education.

Therefore, on International Biodiversity Day in 2022, a group of university student volunteers from the Beijing Institute of Technology, the University of International Business, the Central University of Finance and Economics and other universities gathered together. They hope to propose an Internet zoo project under the guidance of the Youth Practice and Innovation Working Group of the University Student Development Working Group of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF).

These university student volunteers hope to use the Internet to bring the "zoo" to the children live in the countryside and mountains so that they can also have the opportunity to understand nature, feel the beauty of nature's diversity, and experience the fun of learning in the new knowledge through the Internet. 

However, relying on the power of the University student volunteers alone is not enough. Therefore, in 2022, CBCGDF launched the "Internet Zoo" fundraising project on the Alipay platform. 

Suppose you are also interested in this project. In that case, you are welcome to join us and contribute your own modest efforts to biodiversity conservation education for young people in rural villages!
