Dr. Jinfeng Zhou's Draft Tribute Speech to Late Dr. R.K. Pachauri and A Message to the Youth of the POP Movement

Dear friends, I am Zhou Jinfeng from the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF). I extend our heartfelt congratulations on the organization of POP Festival 2024 and convey warm wishes to all participants!

At this special moment, we fondly remember our friend, Dr. Rajendra K. Pachauri, who made significant contributions to global climate governance. As the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) from 2002 to 2015, he achieved remarkable milestones. Even after stepping down from this position, he continued to dedicate himself to environmental causes. I had the privilege of collaborating with him, working together to advance environmental and climate action in China and beyond.
