CBCGDF Expert Frederick Charles Dubee Won the 2023 Philanthropy Figure Award

Professor Frederick Charles Dubee, an expert from the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), won the 2023 Philanthropy Figure Award and was officially presented the award at the 13th Philanthropy Festival and 2023 ESG Impact Conference.

 


The Philanthropy Festival is one of the most influential annual events in the field of public welfare and charity in China. The event aims to promote the spirit of public welfare, advocate philanthropic behavior, and build a platform for in-depth dialogue and cooperation among multiple parties.

 

Professor Frederick Charles Dubee is currently the co-chair of the International Advisory Group of the International Genomics Conference (ICG), a member of the Club of Rome, and a fellow of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences. He served as Senior Counselor of the United Nations Secretariat and Senior Advisor to the Global Compact Office. In 2010, he was awarded the United Nations Outstanding Contribution Award.

 

Professor Frederick Charles Dubee has long been friend with China. He actively speaks up for China internationally, and is an important promoter in the field of sustainable development in China. He has been tirelessly working for many years to enable the international community to have a more comprehensive and objective understanding of China. Over the past 20 years, he has been fully supporting international cooperation between China and foreign countries in the field of life sciences and helping China deeply participate in global science and technology governance.
