ZHOU Jinfeng Visited Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh, Ambassador of the Gambia Embassy in China

 Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), visited H.E. Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh, Ambassador of the Gambia Embassy in China, on December 11, 2023. This visit was accompanied by two African experts from CBCGDF: Mr. Ebrima JARRA, The Executive Director of THE SOIL SOLUTION, GAMBIA; Mr. Abdou Rahman JOBE, Director Soils and Water Management Services Ministry of Agriculture, Gambia.

 




During the visit, Dr. ZHOU communicated on the following aspects.

 

First of all, in order to promote the long-term friendly development of China-Africa relations and the continuous strengthening of China-Africa cooperation, Dr. ZHOU invited Ambassador H.E. Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh to participate in the 2023 China-Africa Green Investment and Green Development Forum to be held on December 15, 2023. The theme of the forum is " China-Africa Cooperation for a Green Future”.

 

China-African cooperation in green industries is deeply integrated within the framework of “The Belt and Road”. China has implemented hundreds of clean energy and green development projects in Africa, assisting Africa in embarking on the path of green sustainable development. China's achievements in the field of green investment not only propel its own green development but also leverage its capital, technology, and knowledge to expedite Africa's realization of green

development goals, thereby creating new impetus for joint China-African achievement in green development.

 

Subsequently, Dr. ZHOU introduced that The SOIL SOLUTION has become the Biodiversity Conservation in Our Neighborhood Demo Site of CBCGDF. H.E. Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh, Ambassador of The Gambia to China, expressed that he was very happy to see African organizations having friendly exchanges with Chinese organizations.

 

Finally, Dr. ZHOU introduced CBCGDF and invited Ambassador H.E. Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh to visit CBCGDF.

 

H.E. Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh, Ambassador of The Gambia to China, said that he was very happy to see such friendly relations between China and Africa. He also thanked the CBCGDF for the invitation and hoped that there should be good cooperation between China and Africa, both in terms of government and non-governmental organizations.
