CBCGDF Successfully Host“Green Board Role-Playing " Workshop with French Representative

 On December 16th, 2023, Mr. Eric Alauzet, Member of Parliament of the French Renaissance Party and President of the France-China Friendship Group, led a group of French National Assembly members to participate in the“ Green Board Role-Playing " （GreenB）workshop hosted by the Chin Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and co-host by  The Student Association on Net-zero Future of Tsinghua University, and the ESSEC Business Consulting Company Limited (ESSEC) Beijing Representative Office.

This event aims to have an in-depth discussion on the environment and sustainable development in the context of China and France-friendly exchanges and to contribute youth power to climate change governance. Dr Zhou Jinfeng, Vice President and Secretary General of the CBCGDF, Mr. Dong Qiang, the dean of Yenching Academy of Peking University, and Ms. Bai Xueying, President of the ESSEC Beijing Alumni Association, attended the event.

 

Both representatives expressed their hope that on the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and France, the two countries can unite and cooperate to promote exchanges between people and enhance the bonds of friendship between China and France.

 

Both parties exchanged souvenirs, expressing the vision of a long-lasting friendship between China and France.

 

Under the guidance of three climate science puzzle guides, the guests and Tsinghua University student representatives were divided into three groups to carry out the Climate Fresk workshop.

 

After the workshop, some are bewildered by the prospect of climate governance; others are warmed by the efforts of people worldwide to fight climate change ...... Climate Fresk workshop aims to raise awareness of climate change among citizens and to inspire positive actions for all.
