CBCGDF Senior Expert Prof. Ma Hao Awarded in the 13th Philanthropy Festival

The Philanthropy Festival was established in 2011. It has become the most influential annual event in China's public welfare and charity sector. The 13th Philanthropy Festival will be held in January 2024 in Beijing. China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) nominated Senior Expert Prof. Ma Hao with his project “Implementation and extension of the new solutions for desert afforestation technology and sand industry model in Xinjiang”.


Prof. Ma Hao has long been engaged in the research and teaching of crop germplasm resources, quality improvement and deep processing utilization, seed science, molecular biology of plant stress tolerance, and ecological control of desertification. He collected 120 domestic and foreign chickpea germplasm resources and continuously enhanced the China chickpea research level. He has published many academic papers and won several awards in the field of desertification control.
