The Low Carbon Workshop of CBCGDF Cooperates with Future Primary School to "Transform Waste into Treasure and Beat Plastic Pollution" | Peoples vs. Plastics 009

On November 15, 2023, the No.21 Low Carbon Workshop of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF)- Henan Green Central Plains Company, in collaboration with the Future Primary School and Primary School Student Learning Newspaper in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, held the opening ceremony of the ecological brick construction activity themed on "Turning Waste into Treasure, Beat Plastic Pollution". More than 100 people participated in this event.

In the afternoon, the project team leader of the Low Carbon Workshop awarded the plaque to the Future Primary School. 1001 ecological bricks made by students have been used in the flower bed enclosure. These ecological bricks, calculated based on an average weight of 220 grams, are estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 660660 grams.

The reporter from Primary School Student Learning Newspaper interviewed the students participating in the activity on-site. Students have realized the serious problem of plastic pollution and have a better understanding of environmental protection concepts such as "low-carbon", "green life", and "zero waste".
