CBCGDF Legal Working Committee Proposes 14 Suggestions on the Charity Law (Draft Amendment)

Recently, the Legal Affairs Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress solicited public opinions on the Charity Law of the People's Republic of China (Draft Amendment).

The Legal Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation(CBCGDF) attaches great importance to the solicitation of opinions on the Charity Law. After careful study, it put forward 14 suggestions to the Legal Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress (Letter No. CBCGDF [2023]SA69/504).

CBCGDF’s fourteen suggestions involve Chapter 1 General Provisions of the Law, Chapter 3 Charitable Fundraising, Chapter 4 Charitable Donations, Chapter 5 Charitable Trusts, Chapter 6 Charitable Property, Chapter 8 Emergency Charity and Chapter 12 legal liability.
