CBCGDF Held Pu 'er City Green Economy and GEP Accounting Data Analysis Meeting

On November 14, Research Office of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and the Development and Reform Commission of Pu’er City, Yunnan Province jointly held a meeting on the data collection of the automated accounting platform for the total value of green economy and Gross Ecological Products (GEP) . The purpose of the meeting is to distinguish and implement all the application data and basic data entered into the total value accounting of green economy and GEP in Pu 'er City.

 

The accounting of the total value of GEP is a concept corresponding to the accounting of the total value of GDP, that is, the accounting of the value of the ecosystem that supports the development of human society and economy.

 

In 2014, Pu 'er City, as the only approved green economy development demonstration zone in China, began to transform the regional economic development model and explore green sustainable development. In 2018, Pu 'er City cooperated with CBCGDF and the Ecological Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out the total value accounting of local GEP for three years. The automatic accounting platform of green economy and total value of GEP in Pu 'er City is a network improvement after the accounting framework is developed in 2022.

 

This data analysis of the automatic accounting platform for the total value of green economy and GEP is the last data analysis meeting before the actual evaluation of Pu 'er City in 2023. Since then, the automatic accounting platform will officially enter the actual calculation of the local every year, and play a leading and supporting role in the green development of the local social economy.
