Delegates applauded the extension of the appointment of Secretary Kent Nnadozie to the end of 2025. The Multi-Year Programme of Work and digital sequence information (DSI)/genetic sequence data (GSD) were also considered. Consultations on farmers’ rights continued throughout the day.

The ITPGRFA has released the list of options for realizing Farmers' Rights. It comprises more than 30 options, organized under the 11 categories of measures and practices outlined in the Inventory on Farmers’ Rights. Each category features multiple options, accompanied by examples, links to original submissions, an explanation of the option, and details on the types of measures typically involved.
