CBCGDF Calls for the Protection of Stray Cats

On November 21, 2023, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) media received a letter reporting that e-commerce platforms are selling "stray cat poison". The specific content is as follows:

Leader of the Companion Animal Project Team of CBCGDF:

Hello! Currently, when searching for "stray cats" on a certain platform, there is a keyword recommendation for "stray cat poison". Click on it to find related products. We complained to Taobao customer service about this matter, but there was no clear reply that such keywords would not appear in the future and such products would be removed from the shelves. We hope that the companion animal project team will pay attention to this matter, promote the ban on products that harm or kill stray animals, and urge e-commerce platforms to block keywords and remove related products from the shelves as soon as possible.

Thanks, CBCGDF for your contribution to small animal protection!
