Occurrence Data of Birds in the National Nature Reserve of Dugong in Hepu, Guangxi Province Released on Global Biodiversity Information Facility

Recently, the GBIF Working Group of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) recorded and published a set of observation data of birds in the National Nature Reserve of Dugong in Hepu, Guangxi province on the Global Biodiversity Information Network (GBIF). This set of data was provided by Mr. MO Shenjie, a bird monitor at the nature reserve. 

The data include Limicola falcinellus, Limosa lapponica, Pluvialis squatarola, Tringa nebularia, Halcyon smyrnensis, Charadrius alexandrinus, and Charadrius mongolus, etc. The observation time is October 2023.

National Nature Reserve of Dugong in Hepu is located on the most crowded of the nine migratory routes in the world, the East Asia-Australasia migratory route. The unique natural conditions provide a good shelter and rich food sources for birds, and it is an important wintering, stopping and breeding ground for birds.
