CBCGDF Deputy Secretary General Attends Forum on World Green Energy Development of Cold Regions

On November 18, 2023, the Forum on World Green Energy Development of Cold Regions was held in Changchun, Jilin Province. Mr. Xiao Qing, Deputy Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to attend.


 

As an important part of the first Conference on World Ice and Snow Economy of Cold Regions, the forum focused on green and low-carbon development and accelerated the transformation of cold and ice energy. 

 


With the theme of "Promoting Green and Low-carbon Transformation to Lead the Development of Energy Industry", the forum included three parts: opening remarks, keynote speeches and roundtable discussion. Industry leaders, enterprises, experts and scholars discussed the energy development trend and the energy transformation in cold regions from different angles, and shared their theoretical and practical experience. Contribute wisdom and strength to China's cold region energy transformation and the realization of dual carbon goals.
