CBCGDF Attending the Online Meeting of Briefing on SPP-CWP Road to OEWG -2

China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received an email from the Geneva Environment Network recently and was invited to participate in the online event“Briefing on the 2nd Session of the Ad Hoc Open-Ended Working Group on the Science-Policy Panel to Contribute Further to the Sound Management of Chemicals and Waste and to Prevent Pollution (SPP-CWP)”, on Tuesday, November 2023.


This briefing provided information on the most recent preparations for OEWG 2 taking in Nairobi, from 11 to 15 December 2023. The chair shared the skeleton outline of OEWG 2 and the expected outcomes.


The OEWG will be held on 11-15 December 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting will be held as an in-person meeting and conducted in the six official languages of the United Nations. The meetings of the Plenary will be live-streamed.
