The Ecology Revitalization Fund of CBCGDF Expert Team Conducted Soil Testing at the Danjiangkou Base

China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) Ecology Revitality Fund first experimental demonstration base with the purpose of verifying the group standards of the Technical Specification for Agricultural Soil Carbon Sequestration Part 1 One Planting Periodthe Wudang Mountain Gongmi Base in Luzui Village, Danjiangkou strats the production testing.


On November 11, 2023, after nearly half a year of experimental implementation, the CBCGDF expert team began to sampling in the field. The sampling work was completed by The Ecology Revitalization Fund of CBCGDF Expert Team, and researcher of the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation Research, NorthWest A & F UNIVERSITY experts. They will further conduct soil production testing.

 

Technical Specification for Agricultural SOIL Carbon Sequestration Part 1 One Planting Period (T/CGDF 00035-2022) standard is a standard formulated by the CBCGDF Standard Working Committee and released in December 2022. This standard is one of the standards for farmland's carbon series, which stipulates the terms and definitions of the soil solid carbon level of farmland, the principles of evaluation, evaluation process, evaluation indicators, evaluation methods, data quality assurance, verification and evaluation reports. This standard is suitable for agencies to do the evaluation of the levels of farmland soil carbon sequestration.
