Summary of the Work of CBCGDF Research Department for 2023

In 2023, the Research Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation(CBCGDF) continued to focus on core tasks such as serving and guiding grassroots ecological protection, comprehensively improving scientific research capabilities, promoting high-quality development of local governments and enterprises, and innovating talent development models.

This year, CBCGDF Research Department served and guided local community ecological protection, further expanded the scope of CBCGDF Conservation Areas improved the quality of protection work, comprehensively improved scientific research capabilities, and served the construction of national ecological civilization. It made full use of its professional expertise to apply its learning and research and serve the government and large state-owned enterprises, to promote the overall high-quality development of social economy, innovates ideas, the construction of Biodiversity Conservation in Our Neighbourhood(BCON) demonstration bases, and participate in the compilation of popular science books. 

In 2024, the CBCGDF Research Department will continue to work hard in the following areas on the basis of overcoming personnel changes, serious shortages of scientific research time, facilities and equipment, etc.:

lThe CBCGDF Research Department will continue to support and guide protected area work, further strengthen research and presentation of results in the field of natural ecology,

lIt will integrate learning and research, further expand the scope of ecological protection services to enterprises and society, and improve service quality.
