In mid-October 2023, during his biodiversity survey in Liuba, Shaanxi Province, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was interviewed by Hanzhong Radio and Television Station (HZRTV). During the interview, Zhou Jinfeng suggested establishing China’s first national biodiversity museum in Liuba County to combine scientific research, nature protection and the people’s beautiful and happy life, so that everyone can make joint contributions.
Liuba Countyis located in the hinterland of the southern foothills of the Qinling Mountains and north of Hanzhong City. Dr. Zhou Jinfeng’s in Liuba lasted for three days, aiming to contribute wisdom to Liuba’s strategy of “establishing an ecological county, prospering the county with medicinal fungi, and strengthening the county through tourism”, so as to better realize local ecological protection and green development.
