CBDGDF Submitted 4 Suggestions on the "Beijing Ecological Environment Administrative Penalty Discretionary Standards (2023 Edition) (draft for comments)”

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau has issued the "Beijing Ecological Environment Administrative Penalty Discretionary Standards (2023 Edition) (draft for comments)”and is publicly soliciting suggestions from the society.

The Legal Work Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) attaches great importance to this and has recently organized research and discussion on the draft. After study, four suggestions for revisions have been put forward and submitted, especially suggestion in terms of initiating consultation procedures for ecological and environmental damage compensation in cases where punishment should be lighter or mitigated with detailed reasons.
