ZHOU Jinfeng Meets Miriam Vileira, Executive Director of International Earth Charter

On the afternoon of August 21, 2023, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), met with his old friend , Ms. Mirian Vilela, Executive Director of the International Earth Charter (ECI), who is visiting China from Latin America and her entourage of 6 people. Mr. XIAO Qing, Deputy Secretary-General and relevant staff from the International Department of CBCGDF also participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Dr. ZHOU shared with the guests the recent focus of work of CBCGDF and the story of its active participation in global environmental governance at the international level, and at the same time reviewed the long-term cooperation and achievements between the two parties. Miriam Vilela said that she is more than willing to make efforts to spread the idea of ecological civilization and the good stories of China's ecological civilization construction to the people of Latin America.
