President of the Chinese Overseas Publishing House Visited CBCGDF

On August 17, 2023, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), met with Mr. YANG Boxun and Mr. ZENG Xu, President and Vice President of the Chinese Overseas Publishing House.

Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng introduced the report of the Club of Rome that CBCGDF is currently translating for publication. He said that biodiversity is a need for the present and future, and the world transformation made by humans has caused the extinction of more and more species. The current climate consensus is a manifestation of civilization in the new era, and the public will increasingly need to think about and research in this regard.

Mr. YANG Boxun introduced the work of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC) and the Chinese Overseas Publishing House. He said that the latter aims to commend the glorious tradition of the Chinese nationality and the excellent qualities of diligence, perseverance, and kindness by introducing the achievements and contributions of overseas Chinese to the world for the benefit of their homeland and their residence. He hopes to have more cooperation with CBCGDF in the future to make some beneficial explorations in promoting international exchanges and strengthening friendship.
