The Power Supply Company in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province Carried out Activities to Serve the Ecological Protection of Wetland Parks

On August 14, 2023, on the occasion of the first National Ecological Day, employees of Qianjiang Power Supply Company carried out activities to serve the ecological protection of the Wetland Park in the National Wetland Park in the Houhu Management District of Qianjiang City. Through actions such as inspections of power facilities and promotion of knowledge about protecting lines and loving birds, the company will make every effort to ensure the safety of birds along the power grid, and solidly implement the public welfare protection project of "protecting lines and loving birds".

At the site of the activity, the employees carefully checked the operation status of the power facilities at the reconstruction site of the National Wetland Park, and checked the safety of the construction users.

It is understood that since 2020, Qianjiang Power Supply Company has launched the "Bird Protection" public welfare protection project. The project puts electronic screens in the park, compiles popular science books, formulates bird census plans, and has achieved a series of results. In 2023, with the strong support of the local government, Hubei Wetland Park will launch a wetland protection and restoration project, aiming to further improve the patrolling, special rescue and protection capabilities for wild animals.
