The 4th Conference on RS of Vegetation Pests and Diseases 2023 Successfully Held on August 19th with over 450000 Attendees on First Day

On August 19, 2023, the Fourth Conference on Remote Sense of Vegetation Pests and Diseases was successfully kicked off in Hohhot, which was jointly organized by the Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Grassland Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Biological Disaster Prevention and Control Center of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and other units.

August 19, 2023 was the first day of the conference. Nearly 200 people attended the conference on-site and over 450000 people participated online.

Remote sensing technology plays an important role in monitoring vegetation diseases and pests and ensuring sustainable development. The Fourth Conference on Remote Sense of Vegetation Pests and Diseases (2023) provides a communication and exchange platform for experts, researchers, scholars, and practitioners to share the latest research results, technological developments, and experiences, and promote knowledge exchange and sharing, discuss current challenges and issues encountered in the monitoring of vegetation diseases and pests, and promote interdisciplinary cooperation among experts from different backgrounds, And jointly explore possible solutions.
