Why All Our Charity Projects Are Not Approved by CAST? The Ecological Conservation Team Asked CBCGDF
Dear Leaders of CBCGDF,
We are members of the project teams of CBCGDF, and we are very sorry to disturb you. There is something I want to report to the leader and ask for your help.
Our team collaborated with the CBCGDF to carry out a public welfare project and submitted an extension application to CBCGDF 's staff before the expiration of the registration period. However, so far, the project has not been successfully extended for registration. The foundation staff explained to us that the project extension filing needs to be approved by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) before they can go to Charity in China to apply for an extension. As the CAST has not approved it, the project has to be stopped.
Our team has thousands of core volunteers, all of whom are working hard to protect the Earth's ecological environment and rescue wildlife. Every day, we conduct research, patrols, and rescue activities across the country. We also give lectures to children on campus and provide environmental science education. Not long ago, we also rescued the national first-class protected animal, the Oriental White Stork, whose wings were broken. However, after the rescue, it has now recovered very well. We also invited expert advisors from the foundation to guide us, and we are now preparing to release it in the wild to return to nature.
The funds that support our work operations mainly come from public welfare projects. Volunteers and the general public will make charitable donations through this fundraising project, and then we will use the donated funds for the public welfare activities of the project. However due to the delay in filing, we are no longer able to carry out our work normally, and volunteers do not understand why we need to stop fundraising for such a good project.
The operation of our project has been greatly affected and has almost come to a standstill. I have no choice but to write to you. On one hand, I would like to report our work to the leaders; and on the other hand, I would like the leaders to listen to our voices and those of the volunteers, and see if they can help us recover the public welfare project as soon as possible. The suspension of the project has had a huge impact on us, and some ongoing work is no longer guaranteed. The work that we have accumulated over the years has been forced to come to a standstill. Perhaps what we are doing is not great or remarkable, but it has been accumulated bit by bit by our family and volunteers, and it is our dedication to the national ecological and environmental protection cause.
We also cannot explain to the volunteers and the public who support us why the CAST did not approve our project extension application. We also cannot understand why projects that operate well and have no violations cannot be approved.
We earnestly request the leaders to help us.

The above is a letter from members of the ecological conservation project team received by CBCGDF, asking why so many of their excellent ecological environment protection projects cannot be extended on the Charity in China website. Due to the failure to extend normally, many of their ongoing projects have been forced to stop, which will cause great harm to the public environmental interests of society.
