ZHOU Jinfeng Invited to Attend the "Blue Eyes in Action" Public Welfare and Environmental Protection Event in Zhoushan, Zhejiang

On August 9, 2023, Beijing Pioneer High-Tech Development Co., Ltd., the contractor of the international seabed polymetallic nodule mining area, jointly organized the "Blue Eyes in Action" public welfare and environmental protection event with the Natural Resources Newspaper and the Second Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang., Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, the Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to attend the event and deliver a speech.

The theme of this event is "Understanding Deep Sea Ecosystems". The public including participating leaders, ocean scientific expedition team members, local residents of Zhoushan, and primary school students were invited to the event to color the pictures of marine life so as to enhance the public's intuitive understanding of the ocean, especially deep-sea life, and to promote the protection of the marine environment meanwhile deepening their awareness of protecting the marine environment.

This event is the third "Blue Eyes in Action" public welfare and environmental protection activity initiated by Beijing Pioneer High-Tech Development Co., Ltd. The Ocean Working Group of CBCGDF responded to the call of the event "love the ocean as much as one care for their eyes", and congratulates the event a complete success.
