CBCGDF OceanWetlands Working Group Holds a Discussion on the Future Industrial Development of Shenzhen, and actively Submits Suggestions
On the afternoon of August 16, 2023, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held an important working seminar in Beijing. At the meeting, the CBCGDF "OceanWetlands" working group and the Biology and Science Ethics Working Committee (BASE) held a heated discussion on "Several Measures of Shenzhen to Accelerate the Cultivation and Development of Future Industries (Draft for Comments)". After careful study and discussion, experts and scholars put forward four suggestions for the Draft for Comments.
CBCGDF "OceanWetlands" Working Group is committed to promoting the ecological environment protection and sustainable use of oceans and wetlands; CBCGDF Biology and Science Ethics Working Committee focuses on biotechnology and ethical issues, especially ethical issues in technological innovation prospective research aiming to promote the healthy and sustainable development of biotechnology under an ethical framework.
""Several Measures of Shenzhen to Accelerate the Cultivation and Development of Future Industries (Draft for Comments)" is issued by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. This draft is considered to be an important guiding document for Shenzhen's future industrial development. Experts and scholars from CBCGDF actively participated in the discussion at the meeting and put forward four suggestions to introduce more ecological and sustainable development factors into the policy making process.
