CBCGDF Invited to Participate in the "4 Per 1000" Presents Soil Carbon Science Webinar Series #1" on September 7

Recently, the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received an invitation letter from the  "4 per 1000 Initiative" to attend the "4 Per 1000" Presents Soil Carbon Science Webinar Series #1" on September 7, 2023.

As one of the hot topics concerned by the international community, the scientific research on soil carbon sequestration is of great significance for promoting sustainable development and coping with climate change. "4 per 1000 Initiative"based in Montpelier, France is actively committed to promoting international cooperation and scientific research in the field of soil carbon sequestration. In order to promote knowledge exchange and experience sharing on a global scale, the webinar aims to invite experts and scholars from different countries to conduct in-depth discussions on the key issues of soil carbon sequestration.

As an active promoter of biodiversity conservation and green development, CBCGDF actively participates in international cooperation and scientific research. Previously, at the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP27) held in Egypt in November 2022, members of the CBCGDF delegation made a keynote report at the COP27 side event of the 4 Per 1000 Initiative, to introduce its standard and its application of the "Technical Specification for agricultural soil carbon sequestration Part 1 One planting period" (T/CGDF00035-2022) .
