Start the New Semester Without Plastic Book Jackets!

Image
As the new semester is approaching in China, a variety of goods of online stationery stores are sold out, including plastic book jackets. Though popular among students and their parents, this item will cause huge environmental costs and have a negative impact on the ecological environment and human health. According to statistics, primary and secondary school students in China use at least 1.94 billion plastic book jackets every semester, which will cause plastic pollution and health hazards. At present, the plastic book jackets commonly used by students can be divided into four kinds of materials: PE, PP, PET and PVC. In terms of their down sides, first of all, the quality of plastic book jackets on the market is not guaranteed. Some plastic book jackets of poor quality contain harmful substances exceeding the standard, and long-term use will cause potential harm to human health. Lulu Chen: Suggestions on the High-quality Development of Horticultural Conophytum | Clean Internet for Conophytum (CIC-110)

Image
One of the important reasons why the market of wild Conophytum plants has formed is that the horticultural level of such species is not high enough. Here are several suggestions for the development of domestic market of horticultural Conophytum. I. Efforts should be put into the horticultural selection of original species. Selection can be based on certain features such as size, color and pattern for cultivation and stabilization. II. Research and cultivation of cross-breeding deserve more attention. Compared with the selection of original species, cross-breeding requires a shorter period of time for new varieties of Conophytum. However, it needs plenty of experiment and practice. For example, Conophytum “Rose Dawn” and Conophytum “Mabel’s Milkman” bred by Steven Hammer are popular all over the world. The popularity of crossbreeds means that there is a promising market for them. III. It is helpful to form communities in the industry. When the Botanical and Horticul

Why All Our Charity Projects Are Not Approved by CAST? The Ecological Conservation Team Asked CBCGDF

Image
Dear Leaders of CBCGDF, We are members of the project teams of CBCGDF, and we are very sorry to disturb you. There is something I want to report to the leader and ask for your help. Our team collaborated with the CBCGDF to carry out a public welfare project and submitted an extension application to CBCGDF 's staff before the expiration of the registration period. However, so far, the project has not been successfully extended for registration. The foundation staff explained to us that the project extension filing needs to be approved by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) before they can go to Charity in China to apply for an extension. As the CAST has not approved it, the project has to be stopped. Our team has thousands of core volunteers, all of whom are working hard to protect the Earth's ecological environment and rescue wildlife. Every day, we conduct research, patrols, and rescue activities across the country. We also give lectures to chi
