2025 Green Book Launched! Editorial Board Invites You to Co-Write and Analyze China's Green Economic Development

On August 26, 2024, the editorial launch meeting of "Analysis of China's Green Economic Development in 2025" (i.e. 2025 Green Book) was held at the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF). Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, CBCGDF Secretary-General,Mr. XIAO Qing, CBCGDF Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. WANG Binkang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Green Book and Head of Editorial Team, Mr. ZHUANG Shuangbo, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine"China Civil Entrepreneur", and colleagues from the Publicity Department and International Department of the CBCGDF attended the meeting.

The compilation of the "Green Development Series" is a project officially launched by the Green Enterprise Working Committee of the CBCGDF in 2022. Among them, the compilation of the Green Book is particularly important. So far, two books have been published in succession - "Analysis of China's Green Economic Development in 2023" and "Analysis of China's Green Economic Development in 2024". Mr. XIE Boyang, Chairman of the CBCGDF, serves as the chief editor, and Mr. HU Deping, former Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, Mr. HU Zhaoguang, former Deputy Mayor of Beijing, and others wrote prefaces. It was published by the China Social Sciences Press and selected into the annual analysis reports of national think tanks and China Social Sciences Think Tanks. Among them, after the publication of "Analysis of China's Green Economic Development in 2024" in March this year, the editorial committee has been invited to organize green book study reports in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Nanning, Jinan and other cities, and the sales of books have reached more than 10,000 copies.

At the launch meeting held this time,Dr. ZHOU emphasized that it is necessary to widely absorb innovative scientific research projects and achievements in the field of green development from all walks of life, pay attention to the green development transformation of county economy, and fully respond to the annual characteristics such as new quality productivity and high-quality development.

The convening of the launch meeting of "Analysis of China's Green Economic Development in 2025" means that the compilation of the new year's green paper is officially on the agenda. The editorial committee also welcomes interested institutions to actively participate in the co-creation and contribute to the country's green development.
