Zhou Jinfeng Delivered a Special Report at the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee's Theoretical Study Center Group Expanded Study Meeting
On the morning of September 11th, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to give a special report at the Fuyang Municipal Government for the "Fuyang Municipal Party Committee Theoretical Learning Center Group Expanded Meeting and Yinghuai Lecture Hall · High-Quality Development Report Meeting."
Dr. Zhou used vivid cases and detailed data, such as the removal of the pangolin from the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the one-time plastic packaging of takeout platforms, and the crisis and protection measures faced by the Chinese bee, to elucidate the significance of the new civilization ideology. He discussed the pathways and methods for promoting the construction of a new civilization from multiple perspectives, including philosophy, history, and culture, in conjunction with China's active measures in the fields of biodiversity conservation and green development.
Dr. Zhou emphasized that industrial civilization has achieved great accomplishments but has also brought about severe problems. Currently, the sustainable development of humanity urgently needs to address three major crises: climate change, loss of biodiversity, and public health.
The report meeting was held in hybrid, with branch venues set up in various counties and districts of Fuyang, and the CBCGDF media platform provided a live broadcast. Over 263,000 people attended the meeting through the live stream.
