The International Department of CBCGDF Is Actively Preparing for the ICG19-II Theme Meeting

 In late November 2024, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will co-host a theme meeting with BGI and other institutions at the second part of The 19th Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics. On the afternoon of September 9, 2024, the International Department of CBCGDF held a preparatory meeting on the theme of the meeting and other matters.

 


The Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics (ICG) is one of the most important academic conferences in the field of genomics in the world. Since 2006, adhering to the theme of "Omics for All", more than 1,200 top scientists, Nobel Prize winners, academicians and entrepreneurs from all over the world have participated in the conference as guests to share their achievements and insights; more than 20,000 on-site and tens of millions of online participants from more than 200 countries and regions around the world have witnessed and actively promoted the rapid development of life sciences and medicine with ICG. The topics of ICG cover the broad fields of life sciences and omics, including many challenges facing mankind, the latest breakthroughs and progress in the fields of omics and medicine, biodiversity and sustainable development, big data and artificial intelligence, humanities and bioethics, science education and popular science, and the contributions of female scientists and young people. Today, ICG has become the most influential omics conference in the global industry. It has been invited by the governments of Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Qingdao, Chengdu and other places to jointly host the 18th ICG Conference, and has received strong support from the governments of many places.
