Methods for Addressing Avian-Related Issues on Power Transmission Lines | State Grid Jilin "Migratory Bird Lifeline" 2024 Specialized Training

On 21 May, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held the second meeting of the Migratory Bird Lifeline Public Welfare Project 2024 Jilin Specialized Training.

Participants included members of the CBCGDF project team and staff from State Grid's Baicheng, Songyuan and Jilin UHV companies.

 

The theme of the training was Bird Disposal Procedures and Measures for Transmission Lines, and the training mainly focused on the analysis of fault types, bird species involved in bird faults, disposal procedures and measures, and gave examples of measures to link up with local governments and social organizations.

The training deepened the staff's understanding of bird-related faults on transmission lines, taught the standardized bird disposal process and response measures, and enhanced the staff's concept of bird protection and awareness of biodiversity protection.
