19 Harbor Seals Come to Sunbathe in Changdao, Shandong|CBCGDF Participates in Harbor Seal Conservation Initiative

Recently, the Shandong Changdao National Marine Park monitored dozens of Harbor seals gathering on the reef, enjoying the warm sunshine. Long Changdao's excellent marine environment provides an ideal habitat for Harbor seals through ecological restoration and the construction of a network of marine protected areas. The results of these efforts have led to a significant recovery of the spotted seal population, and international cooperation programs have given new impetus to conservation efforts.

The United Nations-supported China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCDGF) to carry out the project of "building a network of marine protected areas for Harbor seals in the Yellow Bohai Sea", and CBCGDF has built more than 20 protected areas in the offshore area of the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea, focusing on the rescue and protection of the species, which has injected new vitality into the cause of protecting Harbor seals.
