CBCGDF Deputy Secretary-General Invited to Attend Opening Night Reception of 'Planet in Focus' International Environmental Film Festival (Beijing)

In late May 2024, the Deputy Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received an invitation from the Embassy of Canada to Bejing, to attend the Opening Night Reception of the first-ever Planet in Focus International Environmental Film Festival (Beijing).

The reception will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in Beijing. It will be followed by a screening of the Canadian documentary film Geographies of Solitude.

According to the invitation, the Opening Night Reception, scheduled for the 2024 World Environment Day, will be an opportunity for guests to meet and mingle with filmmakers, environmental activists, and other guests from around the world. 

The Planet in Focus International Environmental Film Festival is a new event that will showcase films from around the world that explore the relationship between humans and the environment. The festival is being organized by the Embassy of Canada to China.
