Representatives noted some impressive on-site features, such as banners and slogans surrounding the Turning off the tap sculpture to reduce plastic pollution. In addition, indigenous representatives emphasized the far-reaching impact of plastic pollution on the environment and human health at the meeting and called for the rapid development of legal instruments to end plastic pollution.
