CBCGDF Conservation Area Suihua Wetland Carries out Fishery Protection Action

On May 24, volunteers from the Suihua Wetland Conservation Area of CBCGDF came to Qing'an County of Suihua City to carry out a fishing protection operation. They cleaned up 13 ground cage nets and 2 gown nets, released the illegally caught fish, and destroyed the illegal nets on the spot.

As soon as they arrived at the destination, the volunteers found a new ground trap net that had just been set up in the morning. Since it had not been set up for a long time, more than ten loaches were caught in the ground trap net.

Around 6pm, the volunteers came to the sewage outlet again. It turned out that the sewage discharge problem that the volunteers had reported to the relevant departments a few days ago had been solved. They came to check the situation and found that the discharged water had become significantly clearer. During the patrol operation that day, the relevant departments also did a lot of publicity work.
