CBCGDF Legal Working Committee Provides Opinions to Help Improve the "Energy Law (Draft)"

Energy issues are related to economic development, social stability, and national security. They are overall and strategic issues. At the same time, energy is also a basic element of economic and social development. At present, the country has enacted many separate laws such as the Electric Power Law, the Coal Law, the Energy Conservation Law, and the Renewable Energy Law. Therefore, based on the above-mentioned separate energy laws, formulating a basic and overarching law is of great significance to promoting high-quality energy development and ensuring national energy security.

The Legal Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development FoundationCBCGDFhas given significant attention to this set of opinions. After careful study, the working committee put forward 18 revision suggestions.
