CBCGDF Sets up Its Oriental Future Laboratory

Recently, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) established the CBCGDF Oriental Future Laboratory and is preparing to establish the CBCGDF Future Research Fund (a secondary institution,affiliated with CBCGDF) for supporting the research undertakings of the Oriental Future Laboratory.

After the establishment of the Oriental Future Laboratory, it will focus on promoting and carrying out work in the following areas:

1.To inherit and develop the rich experience, research results, knowledge accumulation and international cooperation resources of the President JIN Zhouying of the Beijing Institute of Soft Technology (researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, founder and former director of the Technology Innovation and Strategic Management Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) and his team in the past 30 years. To Combine the theory and practice of long-term future research, focus on creating a future research model with Chinese characteristics;

2.To accelerate the construction of future research infrastructure in the public sector, widely absorb the advantages of everyone, and create representative future research methods;

3. To concentrate the wisdom of the country and the world to prepare China’s Future Museum;

4. To regularly hold New Ideas and New Thinking Forums, including comprehensive future forums and special forums on the future of resources, biodiversity, environment, agriculture and other sub-fields;

5. To initiate the study of failure in China;

6. To promote future education and future science popularization, further enhance its international influence, and gradually shape the laboratory into a future-focused interdisciplinary and cross-field academic position and an internationally advanced professional future research institution.

CBCGDF Oriental Future Laboratory welcomes people of insight from all walks of life to participate, cooperate, create, build and prosper together.
