CBCGDF's Rural Revitalization Committee Hosts Symposium on Rural Revitalization and Agricultural Modernization in Hainan Province

Recently, the Rural Revitalization Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), abbreviated as CBCGDF Rural Revitalization Committee, was inaugurated in Haikou, Hainan. Following this milestone, the symposium titled "Contributions and Strategies for Rural Revitalization and Agricultural Modernization in Hainan" was successfully convened under the auspices of the Committee.

This conference, closely aligned with Hainan's Free Trade Port policies and its goals of becoming an agricultural powerhouse, centered discussions on various key topics. These included the development of a national network for agricultural and sideline products, the branding of tropical agricultural products, the seed market for plant varieties, precision agriculture, and smart farming. Additionally, the symposium focused on the implementation of policies that support rural revitalization and assistance to farmers, as well as the cultivation of talent in the agricultural and rural sectors.

Hainan Province is pursuing rural revitalization to harness its abundant agricultural resources, address labor migration to urban areas, reduce economic disparities between rural and urban regions, and protect its unique natural environment. This strategy aims to achieve balanced development and improve the quality of life in rural areas, aligning with Hainan's broader modernization goals. And as a top-tier national academic society in the field of "Green Development," the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) possesses unique strengths to assist in the rural revitalization of Hainan Province. Drawing upon its specialized expertise and resources, CBCGDF can offer valuable insights, knowledge, and support to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices, foster biodiversity conservation, and enhance rural development in Hainan. This collaboration has the potential to significantly contribute to the province's efforts to revitalize its rural areas while preserving its rich natural environment.

This symposium brought together government leaders, experts, representatives from the business sector, and other industry professionals to engage in insightful discussions and offer valuable recommendations.

The CBCGDF Rural Revitalization Committee is committed to promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas as part of China's comprehensive reform and opening-up efforts. Furthermore, it seeks to deepen strategic cooperation with organizations like the Hainan Talent Group. Together, they aim to chart a new path for assisting and benefiting farmers, thus ensuring the high-quality revitalization of rural industries in Hainan. This collaborative endeavor aspires to bring greater satisfaction and happiness to the vast farming community in the construction of this Free Trade Port.
