CBCGDF International Department Submitted the Side Event Application to CBD SBSTTA-25

The Twenty-fifth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-25) of Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) will be held on 15–19 October 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.

As an observer to CBD Convention, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will actively participate in the event. CBCGDF has submitted the side event application to CBD SBSTTA-25, with the title of “Strengthening the Monitoring Framework for the GBF”.

The side event will discuss indicators related to various objectives, highlight current gaps and weaknesses, and highlight how to adjust indicators or supplement necessary indicators and provide necessary data. It will also discuss how to better integrate these indicators with other work and into the National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) to ensure we have the data necessary to track progress towards the targets.
