CBCGDF Invites You to Attend the GASL MSP MEETINGS 2023 China Regional Meeting

 China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF)  will organize the Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock Multi-Stakeholder Platform Meeting (GASL MSP MEETINGS) China Regional Meeting from 16th to 17th October, 2023, at the Beijing Friendship Hotel (No.1 Zhongguancun South Street, Haidian District) in Beijing. This meeting will focus on the theme “Sustainable Development and Green Diversified Drive of China’s Animal Husbandry”. This meeting includes one main forum and four parallel forums(Animal Health and Animal Welfare, Livelihoods and Economic Growth, Food and Nutrition Security, Climate and Natural Resource Use).

Sustainable Development and Green Diversified Drive of China’sAnimal Husbandry


The Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock (GASL) is organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and takes place annually, rotating among the member organizations of the Global Agenda. The objective of the meeting is to address the challenges faced by the livestock sector through multi-stakeholder engagement, promote sustainable development of the livestock industry, and facilitate sustainable growth in the food and agricultural sectors. The agenda of the meeting includes issues related to food security, human and animal health, market opportunities, resources, and climate. Since its inaugural meeting in Brazil in 2011, twelve sessions have been held, and in 2023, an independent preparatory meeting will be held in China. The China Regional Meeting is scheduled to take place in Beijing in October 2023 with the theme “Sustainable and Green Diversification of China’s Animal Husbandry. 

Participation fee:

Participation for members of the National Animal Husbandry Science and Technology Innovation Alliance(Institute of Animal Science of CAAS): 600 yuan/person; Participation for non-members of the National Animal Husbandry Science and Technology Innovation Alliance: 700 yuan/person; Student participant: 500 yuan/person.

Participation fees include access to Meetings, materials fees, meals, but  transportation and accommodation expenses are at your own expense.
