CBCGDF Actively Preparing for Nominations for the Guanghua Engineering and Technology Award



In late September 2023, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) is diligently preparing for the nominations for the prestigious Guanghua Engineering and Technology Award.

The Guanghua Engineering and Technology Award is a distinguished honor bestowed upon Chinese engineering and technology experts who have made significant contributions and achieved remarkable accomplishments in the fields of engineering science, technology, and management. This award, which is presented once every two years, follows a rigorous nomination and evaluation process to recognize outstanding individuals.



As a first-class academic society in China, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation is committed to serving the scientific community in the realms of biodiversity, green development and SDGs. It is dedicated to providing support and recognition to scientists, engineers, and researchers who have played pivotal roles in advancing knowledge and innovation in these critical fields. As CBCGDF continues its preparations, it reaffirms its mission to support and honor those who are at the forefront of engineering and technological progress, ultimately contributing to the sustainable development and prosperity of China and the world.

The world’s ocean ecosystems are facing mounting threats—climate change, marine pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction due to human activities, to name a few. These pressures are particularly dangerous for marine mammals like cetaceans, whose survival hinges on healthy habitats and stable populations.
